Made entirely of objects found whilst out walking, these tiny assemblages are all under 20cm in any direction. Most of them are substantially smaller than that.

Now numbering over eighty separate works forming a whole, they are subject to a system of making, with each comprising only two items.

This method aims to concentrate the possibilities of incongruity, playfulness and imagined narrative that might emerge.

Alongside “object” aligned matters, such as aesthetic and practical considerations, and the innate materiality of the items both separately and in combination, the aim is to attempt to bring forth their “found-ness” as an intrinsic and significant characteristic in my practice..
